The Lion The Witch And The
Wardrobe

The play The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe adapted by le Clanche
du Rand from C. S. Lewis' classic Narnia series about a magical land
that a group of siblings find, entering through a wardrobe as performed
at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
Adam Lazarus is a performer, director and instructor whose work in
physical theatre, clown and bouffon has taken him to France, England
and coast to coast across Canada. He is a graduate of McMaster University's
Theatre Program, Leeds University's Theatre Program in England and
L'Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris, France.
Tickets

to Bracebridge with the 1/2 Iron Distance Event. At Annie Williams
Park, Bracebridge will host to upwards of 1,000 athletes. The course
will include a 200 metre swim followed by a 90 kilometre bike ride

Larry Horowitz will
MC and represent the 1970's. Larry currently performs at many, many
corporate events and is also Director of Stand up Comedy at Humber
College. He is winner of the Grand Prize from ABC's America's Funniest
Comics. He has also appeared on numerous TV shows and Comedy Festivals
across North America.
1980's Glen Foster. "That Canadian Guy". Glen’s material
is topical and timely, reflecting both current events and popular
culture. He typifies the middle class, middle aged, “average
guy” struggling to understand his role in an increasing complex
and diverse society.
1990's Tony Krolo. He won “The Funniest New Comic” contest
at Yuk Yuk’s in his first year and now Headlines top comedy
clubs across the country, and has taken his act to the U.S., the U.K.,
Holland, and the Middle East. Tony’s reputation as a talented
performer has led to invitations to perform at Festivals in Montreal,
Manchester, Reading, Thunder Bay, London and Amsterdam.

Communities in Bloom Conference and Awards. Representatives from across
the province will attend to celebrate their pride in their community

Muskoka Ironman 70.3
Sunday September 14 2008, Huntsville. Event will be
hosted by Deerhurst Resort. The race slated to attract over 1,500
international athletes. Starting from the athlete's village at Deerhurst
Resort with a one-loop swim in Peninsula Lake. Next, the one-loop
bike course will take athletes through Lake of Bays including the
hamlets of Dwight, Dorset and Baysville. Finally, racers will tackle
an out-and-back run on paved roads incorporating the Fairy Vista Trail.
They will finish the final 3 miles (5 km), on the Deerhurst Lakeside
Golf Course paths. There will be a professional prize purse of $25,000
USD as well as 50 slots to next year's Ford Ironman World Championship
70.3 taking place on November 8, 2008 in Clearwater, FL. For more

Terry Fox Run
Sunday September 14.
11:00am. The Run is a non-competitive event where people get together
as individuals, families and groups to raise money in Terry's name.
It is a day of celebrating Terry's legacy and helping to keep his
dream of a cure for cancer alive. There is no pre-registration or
registration fee for the Terry Fox Run. There is no minimum amount
to raise. Please show up at least a 1/2 hour before the start time
if you wish to be involved in the official start. The run starts at
the Huntsville High School.
